sorry to hear

You have become different, you know. I can't talk to you like I once did, because it might affect how you treat me otherwise. Changing your perspective has changed you, it put your sentimental side even further down into the hole which I long ago learned to stop trying to shine my flashlight into.

And I think you notice. But you don't know how to back out, and you don't know how to bring the important stuff in with you. I think you can figure it out, but if you don't, you will end up getting lost, and you will end up getting bitter at being so alone, resentful of being called a name which is beginning to fit.
