levels of invisible
there are many levels of invisible, several shades of transparency. a vital alpha channel which fades you from immediate, crisis, death, to standing before me, shouting, red, and i cannot see you. there are many degrees of disconnection. an artery from your heart to mine, a vein from my lungs into yours pulling apart, slowly starving our brains, arguments are merely stimulus, response; starving our eyes, visions are shape and color, value unassigned. there are many levels of failure, aspects of disappointment. a microfracture in a jet engine strains and grows, seeking death of businessmen, flight attendants, children; an irrational hunger gnaws on blocks of wood, steel, or plastic. it so consumes me, i desperately seek how little i can do for you.
